With 13 years at Bumble and bumble's flagship New York City salon, I built my foundation as a precision cutting specialist. Razor cutting techniques and a genuine love for working with all hair textures — including curly and textured hair — are what set my work apart.That foundation is what I bring to every client, whether we're doing a transformative cut or a relaxing blowout. I've learned to read the room — some appointments call for a good laugh, others are quietly healing, and some are just pure fun. Whatever you need when you sit in my chair, I show up for that.Now I'm channeling that experience into two incredible spaces: Julien Farel Restore Salon & Spa in New York City every Saturday, where I focus on cuts and styling, and Haus of Hilights in Montclair, NJ on weekdays, where I also do color, keratin treatments, and train the next generation of stylists.
